Developed for a DJ set that was a part of “RUSH: Immersive club experience”. I wanted to create a space that completely enveloped the dancers in a space with visuals that reacted to the music in real time.
I have always been fascianted by cellestial science so I wanted to create a space that felt like attendees were inside saturn, seeing the rings react to the music in the foreground and seeing stars & other cellestial objects in the background.

The visuals were built in openframeworks. Live data from the DJ console was fed to the openframeworks sketch via OSC. The visuals were brought to life through four 4k projectors. The projections were painstakingly mapped to the space via madmapper to create a seamless line across the whole space.
